Yerry Mina has told Everton’s official Youtube channel that he has given Dominic Calvert-Lewin a new nickname.
Mina and James Rodriguez were taking part in a question and answer session yesterday, when they were asked to give Calvert-Lewin a new nickname.
And Mina said that he actually already had given the in-form striker a new label.
“I always call him as ‘El Hombre en Llamas’,” Mina laugh. “He is in a very good moment now. [It means] On fire, man on fire!”
Calvert-Lewin has indeed been a striker in red-hot form this season.
The Everton forward sits among the top scorers in the division, with 13 goals to his name.
Calvert-Lewin is actually just returning to full fitness, and could well start for the Toffees again soon.
That will be a major boost for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as they look to build on their momentum from a derby victory over Liverpool.
Everton are next in action on Monday, when they take on Southampton at Goodison Park.
