Newcastle suffered a 1-0 defeat to Burnley on Monday night at Turf Moor.

Don Hutchison has claimed on his Twitter account that Newcastle United can take one positive away from their defeat to Burnley on Monday night.
Rafa Benitez’s men suffered a 1-0 loss against the Clarets at Turf Moor thanks to a late Jeff Hendrick strike, as the Ireland international bundled the ball home from close range to grab all three points.

However, former Liverpool and Everton midfielder Hutchison was impressed with the Toon’s possession of the ball despite the loss which leaves them in ninth place in the Premier League table.
Newcastle started with Jonjo Shelvey and Mo Diame in central midfield and the duo impressed when in possession of the football, but failed to prevent the Toon from losing their fourth league match of the season.

Benitez will be looking for his side to bounce back on Saturday as they play host to Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth at St. James’ Park, with the Cherries struggling in the relegation zone.
Another positive from the defeat was the late introduction of striker Dwight Gayle, who overcame a calf problem to feature against Dyche’s side and he could now be in line for a start as frontman Joselu has failed to score in his last three outings.
