‘Hurts even more’: Some West Ham fans react to their ex-player playing v Spurs

It has been a difficult few days for the West Ham supporters and it didn’t get any easier when they saw their former player pinging balls over the top against Tottenham on Saturday.

Jeremy Ngakia opted to leave West Ham after football restarted, with the highly-rated youngster moving to Watford, who had just been relegated from the Premier League.

Spurs were beaten 2-1 by Ngakia’s side during the pre-season game and the Hammers faithful were reacting to a clip of the defender playing a lovely ball over the top for his teammate, and another familiar face in Domingos Quina

Whilst things are going horribly wrong over in East London, they also have to watch another one of their youngsters seemingly enjoying himself in another environment.

Ideally, the West Ham fans would have loved to have kept Ngakia, but the same could be said for Grady Diangana, who has since made the switch to West Brom – the well-documented headlines that followed are there for all to see.

They now have to watch players like Ngakia boss it against a team like Spurs in a pre-season friendly, whilst they slump to a 5-3 defeat to Bournemouth.
