Stephen Hunt has sent Wolverhampton Wanderers a four-word message on Twitter after the Premier League high-flyers drew Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Wolves have enjoyed a superb FA Cup run so far this term which included a victory over Premier League title contenders Liverpool and will now face more tough opposition in the shape of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s revitalised side.

The West Midlanders did labour to victory over Shrewsbury Town in the fourth round, needing a replay to see off the League One side, but then overcame Championship high-flyers Bristol City in what could have been a potential banana skin.

However, United are a different beast to the side that was stalling under Mourinho and under the Norwegian, they have failed to win just twice – a draw with Burnley and a defeat to Paris Saint-Germain – since he replaced the Portuguese in the club hotseat.

Hunt, a retired Republic of Ireland international who made 66 appearances for Wolves between 2010 and 2013 (Transfermarkt), had his say on Twitter after the draw was made:

The other three ties will see Swansea City face Manchester City, Watford host Crystal Palace, and Millwall lock horns with Brighton & Hove Albion.
