Arsenal defeated Hull City 4-1 at the KC Stadium.
Hull City defender Curtis Davies has complimented Arsenal via Twitter following their 4-1 victory at the KC Stadium though he believes the scoreline didn’t do his side justice in a batting display.
The Tigers made a good start to the season in picking up seven points from their opening four matches, yet on Saturday they faced an Arsenal side who have seemingly had Hull’s number for the past few years.
Alexis Sanchez gave the visitors the lead after 17 minutes, and Hull’s task became all the more difficult as Jake Livermore was shown a red card just before the interval for an alleged handball offence.

Despite Sanchez missing the resulting penalty, Arsenal weren’t to be denied as second half goals from Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Granit Xhaka gave them another resounding win at the KC Stadium.
Davies, taking to social media site Twitter, said playing Arsenal with 11 men is tough enough let alone with 10 and adds defeat is a big reminder for the challenges which lie ahead.
Arsenal, despite seeing a 2-0 lead halved by Hull’s Robert Snodgrass with just over 10 minutes to play, were never really in danger of losing the three points as they controlled proceedings in East Yorkshire.
The Gunners didn’t make the best of starts to the season but since their opening day defeat to Liverpool they have picked up ten points from a possible 12, leaving them momentarily in the top four.
Next up for the North London club is a trip to Nottingham Forest for the third round of the EFL Cup before hosting Chelsea in a highly-anticipated encounter next Saturday.
