Hull City sign young defender on one-year deal after impressing on trial.

Hull City have signed highly-rated defender Bradley Maslen-Jones from Peterborough United.
The Premier League new boys have endured a difficult summer, losing manager Steve Bruce and being unable to make any new signings for the first team.
However, Hull have finally enjoyed some success in the transfer market after snapping up centre-back Maslen-Jones on a free transfer from Peterborough.
Maslen-Jones is initially set to link up with Hull’s development squad before being fast-tracked into the Tigers first team with the club having high hopes for the teenager.
The 18-year-old played at youth level at Kidderminster, Stratford and Walsall before joining Peterborough in 2014.
Maslen-Jones was very highly-regarded at Peterborough, but the defender did not make a first-team appearance during his time at the club.

Maslen-Jones has been on trial at Hull during pre-season and he featured for the club’s Under-23s in their 1-1 draw with Colchester United earlier this week.
The talented defender, who can also play in central midfield, has done enough to earn a one-year deal at Hull after impressing the club’s coaching staff during pre-season.
Maslen-Jones has told the club’s official website he is relishing the opportunity of joining Hull and is hoping to push for a place in the first-team in the near future.
“I can’t wait to crack on and get fully into the season now.
“The coaches and the players here have helped me to fit in well. I know the areas of my game that I need to improve and I’m looking forward to pushing on and developing during my time here.”
