Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has been chasing a new goalkeeper since the transfer window opened as he has failed to be convinced by Ben Amos or Brian Murphy and it appears he is now set to bring in McGregor to solve the problematic position at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Warnock revealed last weekend that he hoped to bring in a Premier League goalkeeper on loan this week and it seems McGregor was his mystery target.
Scotland international McGregor has yet to play for Hull this season after missing the start of the campaign through injury and he finds himself behind Eldin Jakupovic and David Marshall in Marco Silva’s pecking order at the KCOM Stadium.

Former Rangers goalkeeper McGregor is happy to go out on loan in search of regular first-team football as his opportunities look limited at Hull.
McGregor, who joined Hull in 2013 and has made over 100 appearances for the club, is set to join Cardiff on a loan deal until the end of the season.
