Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers has long been linked with a move for Hernandez, and could finally get him to Celtic Park this summer.

Hull City fans are resigned to losing Abel Hernandez this summer, after Celtic were credited with interest in the Uruguayan striker.
Hernandez has scored seven goals in eight games for Hull this season, after missing six months of the campaign through injury.
But with his contract up at the end of the campaign, the Tigers are at risk of losing their star man – and according to reports in Italy, where Hernandez spent five-and-a-half years on Palermo’s books, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is hoping to profit.

Calciomercato claims the Bhoys have already offered the 27-year-old a three-year deal, while Tuttomercatoweb adds that the player – who cost Hull £10.8 million according to Transfermarkt – is considering their approach.
Speaking to the Hull Daily Mail on Thursday, City boss Nigel Adkins said he was unaware of any offers being made for Hernandez, although many Tigers fans are resigned to his exit – and think it could spell good news for Celtic…
According to the Daily Mirror, Rodgers’ interest in Hernandez stretches far beyond his Celtic days to when he was Liverpool manager.
