There are reports that Hull City could make an audacious bid for AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari during the January window.
Sulley Muntari’s future at AC Milan is in serious doubt and Hull may take full advantage by swooping for the ex-Portsmouth man.
Muntari was one of few Milan players to express his disappointment at the exit of former coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Allegri was sacked after the Rossoneri’s poor Serie A form finally came to a head with a humiliating 4-3 loss to Sassuolo.
There were reports in the Italian media that Muntari bade a tearful farewell to the man who brought him in from city rivals Inter in 2012.
Now Muntari faces an unclear future under Clarence Seedorf and he could become a bench warmer, which may prompt him to find a fresh start.
Hull have already spent £14m on new recruits last week and they seem to have money to spend.
Milan would be unlikely to stand in the way of Muntari leaving and the fact the 29-year-old didn’t feature in Seedorf’s plans for his debut game against Hellas Verona could be a sign of things to come.
