The Tigers full-back was ruled out for up to six months back in mid-July, following an injury he picked up in a pre-season game away at Grimsby.
Adventurous right-back Moses Odubajo was a key player for Hull City last season, but is likely to miss half of the clubs 2016/17 campaign due to injury.
The club released a full update of each sidelined players treatment, progress and estimated comeback date earlier today, and Odubajo took to Twitter to give fans a personal take on how his recovery was going.
The 23-year-old picked up a nasty injury in a pre-season friendly at Grimsby’s Blundell Park on July 15th. The injury was expected to rule him out for around six months, with his return to training penciled in for New Year.

The former Leyton Orient and Brentford man went under the knife four-and-a-half weeks ago, and his surgery was a success.
He is now out of his brace and moving freely, but is till some way off training with his teammates. The club say that now he is out of his brace, Odubajo can begin gym work in order to build the muscular area which has suffered as a result of him wearing a brace.
Hull City estimate that he will undergo this strength-based programme for a month, before he can make a return to outdoor training, and approximately two months before he can join up with his teammates in full training.
The player himself added to Hull City’s injury update by tweeting that “all is coming along well”, and that he was making “slow progress”.
Odubajo grew and grew over the course of his first season in East Yorkshire, and was one of the standout performers in the Hull City team by the end of the season, earning particular praise for his performances against Derby in the play-off semi-finals.
Hull City fans will be hoping Odubajo can return to those levels despite his unfortunate injury, and will be particularly hoping that his pace has not been effected, which was undoubtedly one of Odubjajo’s finest attributes.
Michael Dawson, Allan McGregor, Alex Bruce, Brian Lenihan and Greg Luer are the other Hull City players currently sidelined.
