Hull City striker Abel Hernandez could depart this month.
Hull City’s Abel Hernandez in action
Hull City may be in the midst of a relegation fight but they could be set to lose one of their strikers.
The Tigers are receiving strong interest in Abel Hernandez from Beijing Guoan, with the Chinese transfer window open until February 28.
Italian website Tuttomercatoweb report that Beijing Guoan have offered 18 million Euros (£15.2m), with Hull City asking for 20 million Euros (£17m) if they are to accept a deal.
With developments hotting up, Hernandez’s agent is set to fly to China in an attempt to close the move for the player, with Beijing’s interest described as ‘serious’.
SkySports reported two days ago that while there was interest, no firms bids had yet been received by Hull.
Hernandez, 26, has scored three goals in 14 league games for Hull this season, 11 of which have been starts.
The Uruguayan was prolific in the Championship last season scoring 21 goals but has found it tougher in the Premier League this campaign.
