The Tigers have been linked with a foreign striker for some time, and Dieumerci Mbokani is their man.

Hull City have now confirmed the signing of Mbokani on a season-long.
A busy transfer deadline day was predicted for Hull City, and that came to fruition. However, despite having been linked with a plethora of talents, it is a new name which was thrown into the hat on the final day of the transfer window.
Retired Congolese international Dieumerci Mbokani, who spent last season on-loan in the Premier League with Norwich City, looks set to become Hull’s fourth senior summer signing.
Alan Nixon first suggested that the club were close to agreeing a deal for a foreign striker who had previously played in the Premier League.

From there the rumours began to circulate among Hull City fans, but it quickly emerged that Dieumerci Mbokani was the player in question.
Mbokani is contracted to Dynamo Kyiv, who he joined in 2013, and has since scored 19 goals in 45 games for the Ukrainian outfit.
Mbokani could prove an excellent partner for Abel Hernandez
The 6 foot 1 inch Congolese forward scored 7 goals in 29 Premier League games for Norwich last season, although he only started 15 of those games, making it a relatively impressive record.
What’s more, Mbokani will give the Tigers a totally new dimension going forward and a genuine ‘plan B’ that they have lacked for some time.
The powerful striker retired from international football in 2016 having been caught up in the Brussel bombings, he ended his time with the DR Congo national team with a highly impressive record of 16 goals from 35 caps.
