It has been a relatively quiet day in terms of Hull City news, however there are a couple of lines worth bringing you on this Thursday evening.
The Tigers’ under-21 side won their first competitive fixture last night, beating Rotherham 2-0.
Jonathan Margetts netted a brace to ensure the young Tigers side got off to the best possible start.
Speaking to Hull’s official website after the match, goalkeeper Rory Watson said, “Rotherham had a lot of first-team players in their starting line-up but we dealt with that well and came away with what was a deserved win in my opinion.”
In other news, the Hull Daily Mail has picked up on a Twitter craze that has gone far further than its creator would have ever imagined.
The Twitter account shows mocked-up pictures of Hull boss Steve Bruce at a variety of weddings.
Unsurprisingly, the Twitter account is called Steve Bruce at Weddings and it already has nearly 12,000 followers.
The premise – both simple and bizarre – is that the Tigers boss is seen in pictures from a variety of different weddings, some more famous than others.
