Everton have been linked with a move to sign Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen.

Fulhams's Ryan Fredericks battles with Hull City's Jarrod Bowen during the Sky Bet Championship match between Hull City and Fulham at KCOM Stadium on December 30, 2017 in Hull, England.

Everton have yet to get going in the transfer market this summer, but they are now being linked with one of the Championship’s brightest young talents.

The Toffees have brought in director of football Marcel Brands and new manager Marco Silva, and the duo will be expected to bring new signings to the club to bounce back from a disappointing season.

Fans are expecting big signings, but Everton may have their eyes on a young player who has been excelling in the Championship over the last year.

The Sun report that Everton are keen to land Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen, who worked with now-Everton boss Silva during their time together at the KCOM Stadium.

Bowen, 21, joined Hull from Hereford United in 2014, and produced a superb season with 15 goals in all competitions last term, becoming one of the top young talents in the Championship.

Bowen could reunite with Silva at Everton in a £12million deal, and Hull fans are far from impressed with the rumours that their prized asset could be on his way.

Hull fans have already seen goalkeeper Allan McGregor and forward Abel Hernandez leave, and clearly they feel that losing Bowen too would be the final straw.

Tigers fans feel that £12million isn’t enough for Bowen, and whilst some would wish him luck if he did move on, some feel that his departure would make relegation as good as assured.
