The Tigers defender spent five years at the City Ground and made close to 200 appearances for the Trickies.

Hull City full-back Eric Lichaj has spoken in detail about Nottingham Forest, the club where he spent five years and made close to 200 appearances ahead of his switch to the Humberside outfit, ahead of Saturday’s Championship trip to the City Ground
The United States ace joined the Reds in July 2013 on a free transfer from Aston Villa and he made 190 appearances for the Trickies, scoring six goals and registering seven assists, according to Transfermarkt.
Arguably his most famous Forest goals came in the third round of the 2017-18 FA Cup, in which he scored a brace – including a superb volley from outside the box – in the 4-2 win over Arsenal, which was Arsene Wenger’s first ever loss in that round of the cup.
Last summer, however, Lichaj upped sticks and joined Nigel Adkins’s team on a two-year deal, and this term he has made 29 appearances for his new employers, including 28 in the Championship (Transfermarkt).
Speaking to the official Hull media team, he said a lot of nice things about Forest, but made it very clear that he has no time for emotions and his only goal will be to help the Tigers to three points in their quest to get closer to the top six.

“It will be nice to go back to my former club for the first time,” said Lichaj. “It’s a good club with a lot of good people. I met some wonderful people there and created some great relationships. I was always made to feel at home even though I was from America.
“But I’ll go there with my professional head on and just look to help us pick up what would be another important win. I’ll be working my socks off to make that happen.”
Forest and Hull are level on points in the table, with 50 apiece, but the Reds sit ninth, above the 10th-placed Tigers, due to a better goal difference.
