Lloris missed Spurs last outing against Watford prior to the international break.

Hugo Lloris has given Tottenham Hotspur fans hope after telling French outlet RMC Sport that he could be available for Saturday’s clash against Liverpool.
Lloris, 31, missed Spurs’ last Premier League clash against Watford with a thigh injury and there had been hope that the France captain would be fit for Spurs’ next clash after the international break.
He missed both of France’s matches against Netherlands and Germany but was present at Stade de France for his country’s World Cup celebrations, as he celebrated with the trophy in what was France’s first games since the World Cup.
The former Lyon goalkeeper stated that he himself is not yet sure whether he is available to face Liverpool, but stated that with a good week’s training, he could be fit enough to face The Reds.
“Do I have a date of return? Not yet,” Lloris said. ” I will work hard to get back and as quickly as possible. There may be a chance this weekend but we will see according to the progress of the week.”
Michel Vorm replaced Lloris last time out between the sticks for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, as Spurs suffered their first loss of the season after three straight wins. Indeed, Watford secured a 2-1 win.

Lloris remains a crucial member of Spurs side as he captains Pochettino’s men, with the Telegraph claiming he earns a huge £100,000 a week.
Spurs fans will be hoping that they have their best players available to them ahead of what will be a hugely difficult clash against a strong Liverpool side, who are expected to be the closest challengers to Manchester City come May 2019.
Dele Alli is also a doubt after suffering a thigh strain, while Moussa Sissoko, Erik Lamela, and Juan Foyth are also sidelined through injury ahead of the clash at Wembley.
