The Tottenham Hotspur star has been speaking about Payet’s West Ham exit wish.
Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has been discussing the future of West Ham United playmaker Dimitri Payet this week.
The Spurs goalie knows the 29-year-old well from their time playing for the French national team together, for whom Lloris is of course the captain.

The Spurs goalie backed his Les Bleus team-mate suggesting that it is impossible to know the reasons behind Payet’s strong desire to leave West Ham and that he hopes his international team-mate does eventually get the chance to explain his actions. He told RMC Sport:
“From the outside, it’s always difficult to get an opinion. Those kinds of problems belong to Dimitri, his coach, his club.
“Unfortunately, the media has taken over. It has become a pretty complicated business to handle for everyone.
“Dimitri will certainly have the opportunity to give his reasons and to express his views on this in the future.”
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Payet’s wife is not settled in London and wants to raise their three children back in France – which is certainly a factor in his desire to join his former club Marseille again.

However, the Ligue 1 side are going to struggle to meet the transfer fee that West Ham are said to want for their star player and it the transfer window is nearing its end.
The full reasons behind Payet’s decision to want to leave may not be known, but he should certainly be honouring his contract and still giving 100 per cent to the West Ham cause in the meanwhile.
Unfortunately, it seems his time at West Ham may forever be tainted.
