The striker has not played for Tottenham Hotspur since September.
Hugo Lloris has suggested that if it was up to him, Harry Kane would feature for Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby today, the Daily Star reports.
The England international has not featured for Mauricio Pochettino’s side since sustaining an ankle injury during their win over Sunderland in September.

But despite the magnitude of today’s game at the Emirates, Lloris appears to be unconcerned about Kane’s lack of game-time since he picked up the injury well over a month ago.
“How’s Harry been in training? You need to talk to the gaffer. I think he’s ready but the medical staff take the decision,” he said, as reported by the Daily Star.

While North London derbies are big enough without sub-plots, there is perhaps a greater significance on this season’s clash than there has been in almost of the previous meetings in recent times.
Both the Gunners and Tottenham have put themselves into title contention during the early stages of the campaign, and the former could go to the top of the table with a win.

Meanwhile, a emphatic victory for Spurs would see them leap above Arsenal in the table and potentially into third place.
And with Tottenham boasting the only unbeaten record in the top flight, Arsenal will surely want to end any chance of Spurs emulating the Invincibles before the run starts to pick up a huge amount of momentum.
For those reasons, it perhaps would not be a major surprise if Pochettino took a chance on Kane in the hope that he can make a match-winning impact against their bitter rivals.
