The Preston North End striker has been linked with a move to Leeds United.

It has been a busy transfer window so far for Leeds United but there is still much more work for manager Thomas Christiansen to do as he seeks to ensure that his squad is in the best possible shape to secure a place in the play-offs.
A new striker appears to be a priority for Leeds and one player who could fill that void is Preston North End’s Jordan Hugill, who is the subject of interest from the Elland Road club, as reported by Leeds Live.

Hugill has demonstrated his credentials in the Championship having scored twelve goals in the division last season, while he has found the net on eight occasions this campaign and provides a constant threat to the opposing defence.
Clinical and possessing excellent positional sense, the 25-year-old would be an excellent addition to the Leeds squad and could well prove to be the difference in terms of helping them to achieve promotion.

Leeds have been heavily reliant upon the goals of Kemar Roofe this season, but the need for a reliable striker remains and Hugill is certainly an excellent option for Christiansen to consider.
It may take a sizeable bid to get a deal done this month, yet the rewards of Premier League promotion would far outweigh any mid-season outlay.
