Owen Hargreaves has said on BT Sport 1 (12:31pm, December 13, 2021) that Erling Haaland could destroy Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox club Rangers.
Rangers will face German giants Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League knockout round play-off round this season.
Haaland, who is fit again, will lead the line for Dortmund against Rangers.
The two legs of the tie will be played in February.

Former Bayern Munich star Hargreaves believes that Haaland would be a huge threat for Rangers.
Hargreaves said about Haaland: “He is the one they would have to get a gameplan for, Erling Haaland. Every time he plays, he scores. They wouldn’t have seen a player like him for sure all season. He is a huge threat.”
Big test for Rangers
We all know about Haaland and the quality he has.
The Norway international is one of the best strikers in the world and is a goal machine.
Haaland has had injury problems this season, but the 21-year-old still scores whenever he plays.
The Dortmund no. 9 has scored 11 goals in eight Bundesliga starts so far this season.
In our opinion, the Rangers defenders will find it extremely hard against Haaland.
The striker’s pace, strength, shooting prowess and sheer quality could be too much for Rangers.
In our view, a win for Dortmund is the most likely outcome in this tie.
However, in football, as in life, you just never know.
One thing that we can say for sure is that the tie will be hugely entertaining.
