Celtic interim-manager John Kennedy has told The Scottish Sun that his side can cause Steven Gerrard’s Rangers huge problems.
The Hoops will take on bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers away from home at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup next weekend.
Celtic warmed up for the Old Firm derby with a 6-0 hammering of Livingston at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership today.
The Hoops have already lost the league title to Rangers, but they can still win the Scottish Cup and salvage something from the season.
Celtic interim-manager Kennedy has said that if his players are at their best, then they will cause huge problems for Rangers.
Kennedy told The Scottish Sun: “Yeah it was good. It has been building blocks for us in recent weeks in terms of building up performance.
“We know if we are on our A game we can cause Rangers huge problems, so it is a good game to come out of with scoring goals and having that extra bit of confidence. We can hopefully take it into next week and win that game.”

Exciting game of football
Rangers and Celtic are good attacking teams, and both the Gers and the Hoops will go at it next weekend.
There could be a few goals in the tie, and there should also be lots of tackles and good challenges. It could prove to be a classic affair between the Old Firm rivals.
Rangers will know that a win at Ibrox next weekend will virtually end Celtic’s season.
