Fabrizio Romano has stated that Leeds United see a huge future in 21-year-old attacker Crysencio Summerville after the winger’s late goal to claim the Whites a vital win against Liverpool on Saturday.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, the Italian journalist said that Leeds as a club have plenty of belief in Summerville to become an important player, with Romano saying: “Andrea Radrizzani and everyone else at the club believes he has huge potential and could become a top, top player.”
Summerville was the hero on the night for Leeds against Liverpool as the Dutch youth international came off the bench to score a late winner at Anfield to secure the Whites’ first Premier League win since August, with the result lifting the Yorkshire side out of the relegation zone.
