Jamie O’Hara has said on talkSPORT (6:24am, June 27, 2022) that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are about to make a brilliant signing in Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player believes that Jesus would be a huge signing for Arsenal.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Arsenal have agreed a deal with Manchester City and have struck personal agreements with the Brazilian striker as well.

A number of British media outlets have also reported that Arsenal will complete the signing of the 25-year-old Brazil international striker soon.

Arsenal about to sign Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus

O’Hara said about Jesus and Arsenal on talkSPORT (6:24am, June 27, 2022): “That is a great signing.

“I think that is probably the best signing they have made since Arteta has come into the football club.

“He is a top player, he was the player for Manchester City at the end of the season scoring goals. I think he is brilliant.

“He is only leaving Man City because they have signed Haaland. And, for me, that is a huge signing for Arsenal.”

Massive

In our view, Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus would be a brilliant signing for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Jesus can play as a wide forward or down the middle, and his experience with City would be massive.

The striker is used to winning Premier League titles and playing in the UEFA Champions League with City.

And that experience would be massive for Arsenal.

Jesus made 21 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for City last season.

The Brazilian striker scored eight goals and gave eight assists in those games.

Jesus scored four goals and gave one assist in the Champions League last season.
