Tottenham Hotspur fans are delighted with the news that supporters could be allowed back for the League Cup final at Wembley.
Tottenham are due to take on Manchester City in April, as they look to deliver their first trophy for over a decade.
The Times now claim that the game is being lined up as a potential trial event, in the view to welcoming fans back into stadiums.
With Tottenham looking badly out of form, their task of beating a Manchester City side who have dispatched with all before them looks daunting.
But Spurs fans feel that having supporters back in the stadium could benefit them.
And they are excited to potentially their side in action again.
Tottenham’s form when fans were briefly allowed back in the ground earlier this season was actually very impressive.
And with the noise of supporters behind them, Spurs may have a greater chance of victory in April.
Tottenham will have to put in a much improved display than they produced at the weekend at Wembley if they are to be successful, though.
Spurs were second best on Sunday, as City easily beat them 3-0, and a repeat of that sort of performance would be a huge disappointment in April.
