Derby County currently sit in 20th position in the Championship table.

Huddersfield Town midfielder Jack Payne told the club’s official Youtube account that Derby County are a good club with a lot of good players despite currently sitting in the lower reaches of the Championship table.
The Terriers host the pre-season Championship promotion contenders this coming weekend, yet they are not facing a side which has displayed promotion credentials in the early stages of the season.
Derby have picked up just 14 points from their 13 games thus far, and the club’s poor start to the season saw Nigel Pearson lose his job as manager after only nine games and one win on the board.

Having said that, Payne belives that the Rams do boast a quality squad at their disposal and adds that Huddersfield will have to be at their best to pick up all three points this weekend.
“I know they haven’t had the best of seasons so far but it’s obviously Derby and they are a good club with a lot of good players,” the midfielder told Huddersfield’s official Youtube account.
“They are a good team at the end of the day so it will be very tough and we have to make sure we bring our best game again.”

Derby, despite their poor position, are unbeaten in their last four matches with two wins and two draws, and the return of Steve McClaren as the club’s latest new manager has lifted spirits around the iPro Stadium.
The East Midlands club did the double over Huddersfield last season, though the Yorkshire side are much stronger this term and their good start to the season sees them hold a top six spot.
David Wagner’s men lost 3-1 at Preston North End in midweek, while Derby drew 0-0 with Brentford.
