Huddersfield Town fans have urged Nottingham Forest duo Michael Hefele and Joe Lolley to ‘come home’.

Forest signed both Hefele and Lolley from Huddersfield in 2018, with Martin O’Neill’s side benefitting from having the pair at the City Ground.

Lolley, in particular, has impressed since moving to Forest – and he is now regarded as one of the best players in the Championship.

Huddersfield were relegated from the Premier League last season, meaning that they have to make alterations to their squad now.

And many Terriers fans have suggested that they should move to re-sign the Forest duo, after seeing them having a joke together on Twitter yesterday.

Forest are determined to keep hold of Lolley this summer, and have already faced interest from Premier League sides.

O’Neill wants to keep the winger, who is one of the Reds’ most important players.
