Tom Ince still hasn’t scored a goal or produced an assist since moving up to the Premier League with Huddersfield Town from Derby County.

While many Huddersfield Town fans are still very much behind Tom Ince, you can hardly blame others for questioning why the struggling summer signing remains in David Wagner’s starting XI.
The Terriers are yet to see much return on their £11 million investment so far, as reported by Sky Sports, with the former Derby County winger yet to prove that he can make the step up from the Championship to the Premier League.

A stat emerged at the weekend explaining that no player in the top flight had attempted more shots without scoring this season than Ince. And the 25-year-old’s lack of composure in the final third cost him again during Tuesday’s 3-1 home defeat to Chelsea.
While Willian, Pedro and Tiemoue Bakayoko were all on target for the champions, Ince has now gone 16 games without a goal in Huddersfield colours.

And though he came closer than anyone to causing Chelsea a few panicky moments in the midweek clash, another wasteful display has fans wondering whether Ince will ever break his duck.
His performances in Huddersfield colours are certainly in stark contrast to his talismanic displays for Derby in recent few years. In the last two seasons for The Rams, Ince scored 26 goals and assisted a further 14.
And Huddersfield fans could be forgiven for doubting such impressive statistics with Ince’s lack of end product becoming a source of real frustration.
