Huddersfield Town fans react as Izzy Brown is linked to Leeds.

Could Izzy Brown be the missing piece in the jigsaw for Leeds United as they look to sign an attacker before the transfer window closes?

Teamtalk reported this week that Brown appears to be the likely name in the frame to become Leeds’ late signing on loan as they look to add cover for Samu Saiz.

Brown is recovering from an injury which ended his spell on loan at Brighton last year.

Under contract to Chelsea, before his spell at Brighton, he starred for Huddersfield Town to help them win promotion to the Premier League in 2016/17.

Brown was a fan favourite at Huddersfield, and even starred in matches against Leeds.

That would quickly be consigned to ancient history if Brown makes a loan switch to their Yorkshire rivals.

Some Hudderfield fans have been pleading with Brown not to sign for Leeds, and wishing they could bring him back – even though loan rules do not allow them to bring in any more players.
