The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium played host to the Terriers falling to a four-goal defeat against Spurs in the Premier League.

Some Huddersfield Town fans have bemoaned their side’s meek 4-0 Premier League defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur and slammed Jan Siewert’s comments about the scoreline not being a fair reflection of their display.
The already-relegated Terriers took on a much-changed Spurs side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Saturday’s early Premier League kickoff but it did not take long for the hosts to break the deadlock and impose themselves.
On 24 minutes, Victor Wanyama went around Huddersfield goalkeeper Ben Hamer and slotted into the back of the net, and just three minutes later Lucas Moura rifled home a low shot after being skilfully played in by Moussa Sissoko.
Moura went on to seal his hat-trick with two late goals, the first a volley from Christian Eriksen’s cross and the second, in injury time, another driven finish past Hamer, in what was a straightforward victory for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
After the game, Terriers boss Siewert told the club’s media team, as posted on their Twitter feed: “In the end, I thought a four goal defeat was too much today. I don’t think it reflected the whole game.
“We had two very good chances in the second-half. We had to score. However, we saw again that teams at the top of the Premier League punish you.”
Some Huddersfield fans took to the social media platform and had their say, and needless to say, they didn’t think Tottenham had a particularly hard shift to put in:
