Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner has been fined by the FA after accepting a charge of misconduct.
The incident happened at the Madejski Stadium when Huddersfield were defeated 1-0 by Reading, handing the Terriers only their second defeat of the season.
The FA have said that Wagner’s behaviour after the game amounted to improper conduct and, after accepting the indictment, the German was fined £2000.
The charge relates to Wagner’s reaction to referee James Linington following their defeat in the Championship game.
Huddersfield were reduced to ten men when midfielder Rajiv van La Parra picked up two yellow cards inside four minutes midway through the first half, the second of which was for refusing to approach the referee when summoned.

The squad also earned some damaging bookings for left back Chris Lowe and skipper Mark Hudson, meaning the trio missed the following Yorkshire derby against Rotherham.
Add to that a number of missed second-half chances for the diminished team and a questionable tackle against Nahki Wells who could have raced clear and it was a very frustrating match for the Terriers’ head coach.
Manager of Leeds United Garry Monk has also been fined £2000 but will serve a one-match touchline ban as well after he used abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official during the team’s match against Bristol City.

David Wagner won’t have much to grumble about though as Huddersfield are currently at the top of the Championship for the second time this season and will look to maintain their lead after the international break when they host Sheffield Wednesday next Saturday.
