HITC Sport understands Huddersfield target Karlan Grant is set for a medical at the club on Monday.

Huddersfield Town are poised to sign Charlton striker Karlan Grant with the player due for a medical at the John Smith’s Stadium on Monday.
Huddersfield have agreed a fee in the region of £2million with Charlton for Grant, who will become new Huddersfield boss Jan Siewert’s first signing since taking charge from David Wagner earlier this month.
Grant has impressed in League One for Charlton this season, scoring 14 goals in 28 league games and his form has brought him to the attention of several clubs higher up the football pyramid.
Charlton have reluctantly agreed to sell Grant as he was due to be out of contract this summer and they can now use the funds to strengthen their squad elsewhere.

Huddersfield have been looking to bolster their attacking options during this month’s transfer window as they are the lowest scorers in the Premier League this season with just 13 goals.
If Grant signs in time he could be included in the squad for Tuesday’s Premier League game against Everton which will be Siewert’s first game in charge of the Terriers.
