Huddersfield Town’s current form is better than the likes of European giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.
In fact, The Terriers have the 7th best form in the top five leagues in Europe. Led by David Wagner, Huddersfield have won their previous six games, leaving them four points off the automatic promotion spots in the Championship.
This form betters that of Spanish table toppers Real Madrid, who have won four out of their previous six, and Barcelona, who have managed five wins and one draw.
Among those with superior recent form include Juventus, who lead the Serie A table by seven points, and fourth placed Inter Milan, who have won nine out of their last ten games.
If the Terriers can carry their form so that it sees them gatecrash the automatic promotion playoffs by the end of the season, then there will be little doubt about the significance of their achievement.
Speaking to Huddersfield’s official website, midfielder Philip Billing, who scored the only goal in the 1-0 victory over Reading, spoke of the importance of the squad knowing their role at the club.

“The Head Coach likes to rotate the starting line-up and everyone in the first eleven knows their job or role.
“When you come in you know you have to perform because there are other players ready to take your place.
“Everybody in our squad has played a big part this season; the whole team has been phenomenal.”
