Leeds striker has made a big impact in the Championship already.

Leeds United pulled off a major coup at the end of the transfer window by convincing Pierre-Michel Lasogga to join.
Lasogga has represented Germany at international level and is still just 25.
He is a player who Huddersfield’s German manager David Wagner should be regretting not being able to bring aboard.

Huddersfield have struggled in front of goal in the Premier League, scoring only five times in seven matches.
Lasogga endured a poor run of form in his last two seasons at Hamburg which is why he had been made available, but he hit the ground running at Leeds.
In five games for Leeds, Lasogga has scored three goals and provided two assists, and also hit the woodwork twice.

His physical style has made him a good fit for English football and he is capable of leading the line on his own.
If Huddersfield had pushed for Lasogga they could have convinced him to join as they have Premier League football on offer.
Manager David Wagner has displayed a smart knowledge of the German market with the players he has signed for the Terriers since joining – but passing on Lasogga could be an error.
