The Everton attacking midfielder helped Sheffield United to promotion this past campaign.

Sheffield United have been joined by Huddersfield Town in pursuit of Kieran Dowell’s signature, according to The Liverpool Echo. Dowell spent the second half of the season on loan to Sheffield United from Everton, scoring or assisting three goals as the Blades finished as Championship runners-up.
But it is claimed that while the newly-promoted side are keen to bring him back to Bramall Lane, they are ‘understood to be lining up other deals’ before making a decision on the Everton attacking midfielder.
And Sheffield United’s hesitance could allow Huddersfield to pounce.

The Terriers were passed by their Yorkshire rivals en route back to the second tier, but will be among the favourites for promotion as they tuck into their first instalment of Premier League parachute payments.
Dowell, who previously excelled at Championship level with Nottingham Forest, has two years left on his Everton contract.

But with his 22nd birthday approaching and no first-team breakthrough on the horizon, his Goodison Park days appear to be numbered – unless he can twist the Toffees’ arm while on loan.
Would a move to Sheffield United or Huddersfield best suit the Everton academy product?
