Huddersfield fans predict Leeds appointment will end in failure.

Can an ambitious forward thinking and tactically astute foreign manager lead a Championship side to promotion?
Huddersfield proved that was an emphatic yes in 2016/17 when David Wagner propelled the Terriers to the Premier League.
Now rivals Leeds United have their own answer, with an even more decorated and highly regarded manager, Marcelo Bielsa.

Bielsa was appointed by Leeds this morning (17/6) and fans of the Whites are over the moon at such an impressive appointment.
Supporters of rivals Huddersfield are not so convinced, and believe it will end in failure despite some admitting to missing the derby games against the Whites.
To be fair, Leeds have earned their reputation for failing to give their managers time, even new owner Andrea Radrizzani, who has sacked two already.

Marcelo Bielsa’s recent record in club football hardly screams longevity either, with short spells at Marseille, Lazio and Lille recently on his CV.
The Championship is an intense league, very different to what Bielsa is used to.
If he gets it right, then derby matches against rivals Huddersfield await in the Premier League, providing the Terriers stay up again.
