Huddersfield Town have been linked with Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah.

According to the Examiner, Huddersfield Town are interested in signing Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah on loan, but the club will only bring him in if they manage to get one out the door first.
The report states that Huddersfield chairman Phil Hodgkinson has affirmed the Terriers are working on a one in, one out basis and any deal for Chalobah is unlikely unless they can move somebody on.
The Terriers have brought in five players this summer, including defenders Herbert Bockhorn and Tommy Elphick, with the latter starting the side’s 2-1 Championship defeat to Derby County on Monday.
But it seems Huddersfield are still in the market for one more defensive player. Chalobah isn’t likely to break into Chelsea’s first-team squad this season therefore another loan deal for him makes sense.
The youngster spent last term out on loan with Ipswich Town. Chalobah initially started out on defence, before moving into a holding midfield role where he impressed despite the Tractor Boys’ relegation.
Huddersfield currently have too many players on their books despite the recent departures of Tommy Smith and Phillip Billing. Danish U21 international midfielder Billing joined Bournemouth for a reported £15 million.

While there could be reason to bring in another holding midfielder before the deadline, most Huddersfield supporters will be hoping the club add to their forward ranks following their disappointment in-front of goal.
Last season, the Terriers managed just 22 league goals all season and they started their Championship campaign in similar fashion as they lacked a cutting edge in the final third against Derby.
