Celtic fans took to Twitter to express their delight after Rangers collapsed late on against struggling Kilmarnock.
A flurry of late drama at Ibrox saw Rangers throw away two points and lose further ground on the title-chasing pack as they succumbed to a 1-1 draw against Kilmarnock.
Jason Holt’s first-half strike was cancelled out by a 95th minute Kilmarnock equaliser, courtesy of Chris Burke, sending ‘Killie’ boss Steve Clarke home with a point in his first game in chance.
Rangers should’ve been out of sight prior to the equaliser, with Daniel Candeias missing an injury-time spot kick which would’ve put the hosts on their way to three points.
Midfielder Ryan Jack was sent off in the aftermath of the penalty appeal before Burke delivered the final blow.
The draw sees Rangers slip to 4th place in the SPL, with Motherwell leapfrogging Pedro Caixinha’s side into 3rd. This result has done little to ease the pressure on the under-fire Caixinha, who is living off borrowed time at the helm at Ibrox.
Meanwhile, Celtic fans, fresh from celebrating a comfortable victory over title challengers Aberdeen, took to Twitter to show their amusement surrounding the result.
