It was announced this afternoon that Nuno Espirito Santo is up for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award – and even Arsenal fans are saying he deserves.
After three Premier League games, Arsenal are rock bottom of the table.
Mikel Arteta’s side have lost all three and haven’t even scored a goal, conceding nine, but things couldn’t be any more different across North London at Tottenham.
Under new manager Nuno, Spurs have won all three and sit top of the table, having not conceded a single goal yet.
The Portuguese coach is the only Premier League boss to mastermind three wins over the course of August and that makes him big favourite to beat Thomas Tuchel, David Moyes and Rafael Benitez at Chelsea, West Ham and Everton respectively.

Nuno has been an instant hit among Lilywhites fans and his adoration will only grow if he masterminds a derby win over Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal later this month.
The former Wolves boss is gearing up for his first taste of a North London affair on September 26 at the Emirates.
But it’s entirely possible that Arteta won’t even be in charge by then.
This is Arsenal’s worst-ever start to a top-flight season and if Norwich go and beat them after the international break, it might well be curtains.
