Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe has doubts over Arnaut Danjuma, who is on the radar of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool as a potential replacement for Sadio Mane, according to talkSPORT.
TalkSPORT have reported that Newcastle boss Howe has doubts over Danjuma’s temperament.
Howe signed the 25-year-old Netherlands international forward for Bournemouth in 2019.
Danjuma moved to Villarreal from Bournemouth in the summer of 2021 for £21 million (talkSPORT).
TalkSPORT have claimed that Liverpool and Manchester United are tracking Danjuma’s progress.
Goal reported in April that Liverpool view the Dutchman as the ideal replacement for Sadio Mane.
Mane has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Newcastle United stance on Arnaut Danjuma positive for Liverpool
In our view, Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe reportedly having doubts over Arnaut Danjuma is a positive for Liverpool.
If the Magpies are not keen on the forwad, then it means one fewer club as competition for Liverpool.
The Villarreal star can operate as a winger or as a centre-forward.
Danjuma made 17 starts and six substitute appearances in La Liga this past season.
The attacker scored 10 goals and gave three assists in those games.
Danjuma also scored six goals and provided one assist in 11 Champions League matches for the Yellow Submarine this past season.
