Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion reportedly want to sign Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings.

According to The Daily Mail, Championship duo Villa and West Brom are interested in signing Mings from Premier League club Bournemouth this month.
The 25-year-old defender, who can operate as a centre-back or as a left-back, has made just two starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Cherries so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Howe has suggested that Bournemouth could decide to send the former Chippenham Town man out on loan this month.
“His desire to play and the fact he has had major injuries and hasn’t had a lot of football – we will wait and see on what’s best for Tyrone and for us,” Howe told The Daily Echo about Mings.

Good signing for Aston Villa or West Bromwich Albion
Mings is a very good defender who knows the Championship well, and the Bournemouth man will be a good signing for Villa or the Baggies.
Villa do need a left-back in the January transfer window, while West Brom could also do with defensive reinforcements for the second half of the season in their quest to finish in the top two of the Championship.
