Birmingham are aiming to get out of the Championship relegation zone.

Currently in the Championship relegation zone, having taken just 16 points from their 20 Championship fixtures so far, Birmingham City are facing a major battle to stay in the division.
Steve Cotterill’s side have some intriguing fixtures coming up, as they look to move on up the league table and here’s our prediction of how these might turn out:
Saturday – Fulham – away – Prediction: Birmingham to win 2-1.
Fulham are in 15th and are determined to not get dragged into the relegation battle. The Cottagers have been disappointing at home so far this season, only picking up two wins out of a possible six in such fixtures, and this game represents a chance for Birmingham to secure a much-needed win.
December 16th – QPR – home – Prediction: Birmingham to win 1-0.
While Birmingham have been woeful this season, QPR have lost four of their last five Championship games and are on a downward spiral.
If Birmingham are at their best then they can also take three points from this home game.

December 23rd – Sunderland – away – Prediction: 0-0 draw.
Sunderland are another side that are fighting to avoid the drop, and this game should be a highly charged encounter as both sides can ill afford to lose.
A goalless draw appears to be the most likely outcome as it’s unlikely that this will be an open game.
December 26th – Norwich City – home – Prediction: 1-1 draw.
Norwich have been disappointing of late, having lost three out of their last five league games.
Birmingham will be aiming to at least get a point from this game.

December 30th – Leeds United – home – Prediction: Leeds to win 2-0.
Although Leeds haven’t quite been at their best recently, this is likely to be the most challenging of Birmingham’s next five fixtures. A Leeds victory certainly seems likely in this game.
Overall, the Leeds game aside, there are some good opportunities for Birmingham to pick things up over the next few weeks, and we are predicting a respectable 8 points out of a possible 15 in the next 5 games.
