Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has praised Liverpool transfer target, Enzo Fernandez, on Instagram for another great showing for Argentina at the Qatar World Cup.
The 21-year-old helped Argentina progress to the knockout stages of the World Cup, after wins over Mexico and Poland during this past week.
But it only came after their shock defeat to Saudi Arabia, which left many fearing that the South American giants were going to head for an early exit.

After that Saudi loss, Benfica’s rising star announced himself from the bench against Mexico by scoring a stunning curling effort, before he was handed his first start against Poland on Wednesday.
Villa and Argentina’s number one Emi Martinez lauded the attacking midfielder and told him ‘How well do you play, football’ in the comments section of his IG post.
LIVERPOOL INTERESTED IN FERNANDEZ
When Lionel Messi is singing your praises, then you must be doing something very special.
But one of the world’s greatest isn’t the only one appreciating the talents being shown by the versatile midfielder because Liverpool and Real Madrid have him on their transfer wishlist.
In truth, the Qatar World Cup wouldn’t have helped matters because Benfica would have possibly had a number of enquiries for the player.
And, bearing that in mind, added with the World Cup tax, they will probably add a few more 10s of million on his price-tag knowing that there is hype around him now.
