Celtic are out of Europe for the season.

Celtic’s elimination from the Europa League was confirmed last night with a 1-0 away loss at Valencia.
One player who did not play was ineligible striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo, who was not registered for the competition.
Yet he could still be impacted by Celtic’s Europa League exit.
Bayo is competing for playing time against three Celtic players.
Odsonne Edouard, loanee Timothy Weah, and Oliver Burke are all in contention for striker spots, along with Bayo.
The Europa League provided more fixtures and potential playing time for the trio, which Bayo was ineligible for.
Now the three will be pushing for playing time exclusively in domestic football.

This will test Brendan Rodgers’ commitment to how much he wants to push new signing Bayo this season.
It’s up for grabs
There is another way to look at this, and it could be that Edouard, Weah, and Burke all lose out.
This is dependent on the progress Bayo makes, and whether Brendan Rodgers decides he will play him regardless.
In this case, the trio will be battling amongst themselves for the rest of the minutes on offer.
