Tyson Fury’s dad is ready to take charge of his son’s comeback, promising to rebuild the entire training set-up and get him in peak condition before he returns to the ring.

Fury has not fought since his second loss to Oleksandr Usyk in December 2024, and there has been little talk about what comes next for the former heavyweight champion.

Tyson’s dad missed that fight after an incident with a member of Team Usyk earlier that year kept him away from the corner in Saudi Arabia.

This time around, he will be back alongside Tyson, joining camp as preparations start for a planned return in 2026.

He also played down any concerns over Fury’s focus, dismissing recent social media clips from Thailand as nothing more than distractions.

Following a controversial win in Germany for his son Roman, John Fury is shifting focus back to Tyson.

The former champion has faced criticism over his shape, with videos from his Thailand camp sparking fan concern.

John now plans to address those concerns and get Tyson back into fighting form.

He said to IFL TV: “I want to see what Tyson’s at and what he’s got left.

“We’re going to do three months proper training and put some muscle on that frame of his, get that s— off his sides.

“It can be done and we’ll give him a good vessel to fight with. Strong physique, strong shoulders, strong arms and solid. I don’t want to look at him with arms like spaghetti sticks, I want to see him there big, muscled up and looking intimidating.

“If he gets that body back and can get the movement, he can get any world title back on any given chance.”
