Cotterill has taken some of the blame for the defeat from the fans at St. Andrews, with his substitutions coming into question.
Birmingham fans have been left stunned by their manager’s decision to bring on Sam Gallagher as a winger, rather than in his favoured position up-front.
Gallagher entered the field for the final half-hour, but he failed to have much of an impact in an attacking sense.
And Blues fans feel that Cotterill is to blame for Gallagher’s struggles.
Birmingham’s defeat leaves them looking nervously over their shoulder, with Cotterill’s side seemingly in the middle of a relegation fight.
Birmingham are currently in 21st position in the Championship table, with their next match coming against Barnsley at Oakwell.
