Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the injury suffered by Divock Origi.

Liverpool have been adversely affected by injuries this season, with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip long-term concerns.

Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Thiago have also had spells on the sidelines, while Roberto Firmino has been out recently.

On Monday evening, Liverpool announced on their official Twitter page that now Origi has suffered an injury.

While announcing their confirmed lineup for the Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday evening, the defending English champions said that the Belgium international will not play due to a muscle injury.

Some Liverpool fans have given their take on Twitter on the injury to Origi, and below are some of the best comments:

No big miss for Liverpool?

While Origi will be bitterly disappointed with his muscle injury, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to be too concerned in terms of winning matches.

Of course, Klopp would not want any of his players to get injured, but the Liverpool boss will know that Origi missing games is not exactly a big deal.

After all, the 25-year-old is merely a squad player at the Reds, and with Diogo Jota back from injury, the Belgian is going to find it even more difficult to get into the team.

According to WhoScored, Origi has made two starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League and has made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League so far this season.
