West Ham United are pushing for new signings this week.

West Ham United made an ambitious move when they parted ways with manager David Moyes, as they brought in former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini as his replacement.
The Hammers hope that Pellegrini will drive the club back towards the top six, and in order to do that, he needs a host of signings to boost his squad at the London Stadium.
Today, West Ham confirmed their second signing of the summer, as Toulouse defender Issa Diop completed his move to East London, following former Fulham right back Ryan Fredericks.

West Ham may not be done there though, as Football.London report that the Hammers are still chasing deals for Swansea City duo Lukasz Fabianski and Alfie Mawson, as well as Lazio winger Felipe Anderson, with agreements wanted this week.
If West Ham secure four signings this week, Pellegrini will have got the bulk of his work done early – and here is how West Ham could line up with those new faces.
Pellegrini has often used a 4-4-2 over the course of his career, and that starts with the goalkeeper, with Fabianski set to come in as number one under Pellegrini once he completes his move.

Pacey, attacking full back Fredericks may be able to usurp Pablo Zabaleta at right back despite the Argentinian featuring under Pellegrini at City, with Diop and Mawson forming a youthful centre back pairing, and Aaron Cresswell on the left.
Two centre back signings would point to Declan Rice heading into midifeld, and the athletic Cheikhou Kouyate would figure as a sensible partner barring a midfield addition, which may yet come, whilst Anderson can play on the right and Arthur Masuaku on the left.
In a front two, Marko Arnautovic could support Javier Hernandez, combining skill and physicality with great movement, but that – much like in the centre of midfield – may be one of the final areas Pellegrini looks to improve once his final targets get over the line.
