Son Heung-min had a very eventful first-half performance for Tottenham Hotspur against West Ham United this evening.

And David Prutton, speaking live on Optus Sport commentary, wasn’t impressed by Son’s defensive effort on that occasion.
He said: “How on earth does he have that much time and space? Because Son, quite simply, switches off. He has no idea where the man is and it’s a really smart finish.”
You cannot be overly harsh on Son, the scorer of two goals in this 3-1 victory.
Yes, the former Leverkusen talent, a £22 million signing under Mauricio Pochettino, failed to track Benrahma.
However, not only is Son not a defender, but he also had a stunning performance overall and judging him based on that alone would be a major mistake.
The truth is, Son is a world-class performer, as he proved again today.
