Leeds United new boy Pierre-Michel Lasogga says he takes no notice of critics.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga’s move to Leeds was one of the most intriguing deals done on transfer deadline day.
The former German international striker has signed a season long loan from Hamburg and is hoping to get back to his best after a disappointing last two seasons.
The striker has received plenty of flak in Germany over the past two seasons after his goals dropped off, but he said he takes no notice of his critics.

Insisting his game is far more than simply scoring goals, Lasogga said: “It is true that I am a striker, I want to score my goals in the box. I can do that best.
“But if you look closely at the games, you can see that I also get the balls from the midfield and distribute them.
“If you do not want to see this and prefer to stay with your preconceived opinion, I can not help.
“There are even people who say Cristiano Ronaldo is a bad footballer. The main thing is that I know what I can do. And the coach of course.”

Lasogga’s comments on goalscoring were backed by sporting director Victor Orta this week, who told Leeds’ Facebook page that he wants his striker first to be able to contribute to the team positively, and score goals as a result.
Orta also added that he believes Lasogga is a Premier League quality player, who Leeds have been able to sign due to his dip in form, which was also affected by injuries.
The Whites are hopeful that a change of scenery will develop Lasogga’s career for the better and help the club with their promotion battle.
