Al-Hilal have reportedly made a stunning offer to Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of Kylian Mbappe in an extraordinary twist in this summer’s biggest transfer saga.
According to a report by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, which has been further backed up by Adam Crafton of The Athletic, The Saudi Pro League side have made an audacious €300 million (£259 million) offer for the 24-year-old forward services.
According to Romano, Al-Hilal are yet to approach Mbappe over whether the French forward would be interested in making the move to the Saudi Pro League.
It’s a truly extraordinary situation for all involved as a player of Mbappe’s stature moving to the league would blow any other transfer to the league out of the water, and you can include Cristiano Ronaldo in that statement.
Big money for Kylian Mbappe at Al Hilal
Crucially, The Athletic have reported that PSG have given the Saudi side permission to talk to the French forward’s representatives, which suggests a deal could, incredibly, be feasible.
Not only are Al Hilal offering £259 million for the forward they are also reportedly offering an incredible €700 million which is £604 million as a yearly wage package for the player.
Crucially, they are only offering the forward a one-year deal which equates to £11.6 million a week.
It is truly astonishing.

That’s according to CBS Sports’ James Benge, who also claims Al Hilal would allow the Frenchman to leave the club for nothing next summer and make the move to Real Madrid on a free transfer.
The Frenchman has been keen to move to Real Madrid for a long time and could have made the move to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer but chose to sign a new contract at PSG according to The Athletic.
The forward still does have an option to extend his contract in Paris but that option will expire at the end of the month, and The Athletic report that Luis Enrique’s side are preparing for the new season without the striker.
